Choose Fireflies when recurring meetings create enough retrieval and follow-up work to justify a governed meeting-memory system. It can join calls, capture through extensions or apps, import recordings, produce transcripts and summaries, search history and connect meeting output to other systems. Start with representative internal and customer calls, then measure accepted transcript segments, corrected speakers, usable action items, recap delivery and downstream data copies. Pro is $10 per seat per month billed annually or $18 billed monthly; Business is $19 annually or $29 monthly; Enterprise is $39 per seat per month and annual only. The core plan and advanced AI credits are separate decisions. Current documentation gives one-time signup credits by plan and says advanced features use dynamic per-query credits based on sources, meetings and complexity; transcription, summaries and recap emails are not charged in those credits. A seven-day AI-credit trial converts after seven days to a paid subscription, and Auto-Upgrade is enabled by default for that flow. External uploads, API or Zapier uploads, cloud-drive imports, dialer calls and past-meeting imports have a 3,000 minutes per source per month individual limit; team allowance multiplies by users up to 150,000 minutes per source, with $0.01 per-minute overage. Fireflies can enter through Auto-Join, a calendar invitation or Add to Live Meeting. It appears as a notetaker and may require host admission; bot-free capture is also available through the Chrome extension, mobile app and desktop workflows. Fireflies states meeting content and personal data are not used to train internal or external models, vendors are contractually prohibited from training on it, and third-party vendors do not retain meeting audio, video, transcripts or summaries after processing.
