Melty at melty.gg is a game-mashup and mod platform operated by Stella Montis Inc., not the earlier Melty AI code editor. Players use their own legitimate game copies; creators can give Melty instructions to a coding agent and publish a mashup. Its current terms say Melty is free and mashups are currently free, but publishing grants Melty an exclusive worldwide marketplace licence while content remains on Melty and for 12 months after removal. A special transition applies to content already present before the October 14, 2026 terms. Other people's game assets keep their own licences, and publisher mod or anti-cheat rules still apply.
